La Rocca's gear stolen in Philly

This is something like the 10th band in the past few months to have all of their gear stolen in Philly. Sounds like the work of organized crime to me, possibly working with someone in the club or local music scene there. Recently a trailer full of instruments likely belonging to a jam or roots-rock band appeared on Craigslist Philly for sale.

Re-posted from TheTripwire.com...

Just as their accomplished U.S. tour with the likes of Birdmonster and Phoenix was wrapping up, Dublin rockers La Rocca hit a major snag as their entire van, filled with their gear, was stolen in Philadelphia today.

If you have any information about the missing van or gear, please feel free to contact the band via their MySpace Page.
